The ministry said that the 220 kV Kakhovska-Titan-Krasnoperekopsk high-voltage powerline was connected at 01:37 on December 8. The total power generation in Crimea, including the power supply from the Russian and Ukrainian grids is 769 megawatts, TASS reported.

The power crossflows from Ukraine's national power company Ukrenergo reached 104 megawatts.

A total of 2,677 reserve power sources with an aggregate capacity of 272.29 megawatts have been switched on for providing socially important and infrastructure facilities with electricity. The work to connect consumers to the power grids continues.

Crimea had received electricity from Ukraine's Kherson region through four power transmission lines. However, all the powerlines were damaged on November 22 as a result of actions by Ukrainian activists participating in the blockade of Crimea, which disrupted the power supply.
