Russia has deployed a gas turbine power station in the occupied Crimea to ensure power supplies in the peninsula, the press service of "Emergency Situations Ministry" of Crimea reported.
"Its operations will improve the reliability of the power grid and reduce the energy deficit of the Republic of Crimea and Sevastopol. Currently, 13 such stations with a total capacity of 292.5 MW are operating in the peninsula," a statement reads.
It is noted that additional gas turbine power station of the same capacity will be deployed in the occupied Crimea in the near future.
