If there were an operating Cabinet of Ministers in Ukraine, the country could expect to receive $1 billion in U.S. loan guarantees and a $3 billion loan from the International Monetary Fund, according to Petro Poroshenko who spoke at the BPP faction meeting Monday, RBC Ukraine reported citing several participants of the meeting.

"If there were an operating government in Ukraine, nothing would prevent me from agreeing with the U.S. on $1 billion worth of loan guarantees of the U.S. Government, receiving a $3 billion IMF loan, and signing an agreement on military-technical cooperation with the United States," said Poroshenko.

As UNIAN reported earlier, deputy head of the Bloc of Petro Poroshenko parliamentary faction Oleksiy Honcharenko said that nomination of Rada Speaker Volodymyr Groysman for premiership was endorsed at the faction meeting.
