Ukraine and the European Union have agreed on further liberalization of quotas and duties, as well as favoring government interaction and business contracts, Ukraine Trade Representative Nataliya Mykolska wrote on Twitter, commenting on the first meeting of the EU-Ukraine Parliamentary Association Committee held in Kyiv on April 12-13.
"As agreed with Ewa Synowiec [Principal Advisor at EU Directorate General for Trade], not only further liberalization of quotas and tariffs was important but also the government and B2B [business to business] dialogue," Mykolska wrote.
As UNIAN reported earlier, the European Union stated it would assist Ukraine to mitigate some of the negative effects on its economy associated with Russia's trade aggression.
