Ukrgazvydobuvannia launches production of Euro-4 diesel fuel

The country's largest gas company, Ukrgazvydobuvannia, has started production of the eco-friendly Euro-4 diesel fuel at the Shebelynka plant for processing gas condensate and oil, company's chief Oleh Prokhorenko wrote on Facebook.

"We have launched Euro-4 diesel fuel at the Shebelynka plant... This is the end of the era of non-eco-friendly high sulfur fuel... This investment has already paid off," he wrote.

According to the company, the first batch of Euro-4 diesel fuel will be supplied to final consumers through its own retail network, as well as to cover the needs of the company’s truck fleet and special equipment.

Read alsoRussia halts diesel fuel supplies to Ukraine – mediaAs UNIAN reported earlier, Ukrgazvydobuvannia implemented projects on the transition from the Euro-2 class gasoline to Euro 4 worth up to UAH 20 million, as well as with the subsequent transition to Euro 5 with the total cost of UAH 5 million. The company sells its gasoline at auctions and through a network of filling stations.

The planned monthly output of Euro-4 diesel fuel production should amount to 8,000-10,000 tonnes.
