Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko has said that in accordance with the World Bank and PricewaterhouseCoopers, Ukraine will be able to climb 30 steps up in the ranking of Paying Taxes tax climate after the introduction of changes in tax administration.
"I would like to refer to the results of Paying Taxes ranking – the overall ranking, which is formed by the World Bank and PricewaterhouseCoopers. If you look at this rating, you can see that in 2012, 2013, we ranked 164th and 181st, respectively. Ukraine ranked 181st – it is one of the lowest positions in terms of tax climate in the world. This was during the time of Klymenko, Yanukovych, Arbuzov when VAT supported corruption in the country," he said.
According to Poroshenko, as of today, Ukraine has already climbed to 73 positions for one year.

They say that if all innovations on tax administration are introduced, Ukraine can firmly count on another 30 steps. This means that we will be in the upper half of the list," he said.
Earlier, Poroshenko said that Ukraine had climbed from the 83rd to the 80th position in the Doing Business ranking by the World Bank.
