Moscow court orders Antonov to pay RUB 180 mln to Russia’s Def. Ministry

Moscow’s Arbitration Court has ruled in favor of the Russian Defense Ministry in a suit demanding that the Ukrainian aircraft manufacturer Antonov pay a RUB 180.26 million penalty to the ministry.

The plaintiff initially demanded to recover from the State Enterprise Antonov RUB 357.48 million, as reported on the website of the court.

Also, the Russian court ordered the company to pay RUB 200,000 in court fees.

"The decision can be appealed to the Ninth Arbitration Court of Appeal within a month from the date of its adoption," reads the ruling.

The Defense Ministry filed a lawsuit against Antonov in 2015.
