Russian gas monopoly Gazprom has filed an appeal against the court's decision granting the Anti-Monopoly Committee of Ukraine the right to impose a UAH 171.932 billion fine against the company for violations of the anti-trust legislation of Ukraine. The hearing is scheduled for January 18, according to the website of Kyiv Economic Court of Appeal.
"Jan 18, 2017. 9:40. Plaintiff (applicant): The Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine. Defendant (debtor): PJSC Gazprom. Body or person who filed an appeal: PJSC Gazprom," reads a schedule.
It states that the subject of an appeal is the recovery from the company of a UAH 85.966 billion fine and UAH 85.966 billion in penalties as a result of the first review of the dispute between the Antimonopoly Committee and Gazprom.
