The Ukrainian energy holding claims that the situation is likely to occur when Gazprom will have not enough resources to ensure both heating for Russian consumers and exports to the EU.
State-owned energy holding Naftogaz of Ukraine due to severe frosts in Russia stresses the probability of provocations on the part of Gazprom and arbitrary charges of Ukraine in the inability to ensure gas transit.
"A situation is quite likely to emerge when Gazprom will have not enough resources to ensure both heating [for their consumers in Russia] and for exports to the EU. Then they will try to blame us. Our thing is publicity," Naftogaz press service wrote on Facebook.
