Kyiv court reinstates Nuclear Fuel CEO sacked by Azarov's govt

Kyiv's Pechersky District Court has ruled to reinstate CEO of state-run Nuclear Fuel Concern Tetiana Amosova, who was discharged by Ukrainian Prime Minister Mykola Azarov's government under former President Viktor Yanukovych in 2013.

Under a court ruling dated February 15, 2017, Ukrainian Cabinet order No. 470-r dated July 3, 2013, on the dismissal of Amosova from the position of CEO at state-run Nuclear Fuel Concern, as well as order No. 90 k/k issued by Ukraine's Energy and Coal Industry Ministry on July 3, 2013 and order No. 61-k issued by Acting CEO of the Concern on July 8, 2013, were ruled null and void, and were canceled.

The court also ordered that the Concern should pay Amosova the salary and compensation for the damage caused.

The Concern's core business is to create a nuclear fuel production cycle. It is involved in an improvement in the management of the nuclear industrial complex, development of uranium and zirconium alloy production, the creation of own nuclear fuel elements and fuel assembly fabrication, etc.

Now the Concern is subject to Ukraine's Energy and Coal Industry Ministry.
