Kyiv Mayor Vitaliy Klitschko says that LLC Evrorekonstruktsiya's combined heat and power plant (CHPP), which supplies heat and hot water to nearly 300,000 households, has 25,000 tonnes of coal in stock now, according to TV Channel Kyiv.
"It will be enough for almost one month if this is usual, non-saving mode," Klitschko said.

In particular, it now operates both steam boilers using coal and boilers running on natural gas.
"In this mode, the existing coal reserves will be enough for 50 days. Kyiv residents do not need to worry. There is no threat to the city. The situation is under control. There is no need to panic and spread rumors," Klitschko assured.
