Production of motor vehicles in Ukraine in January-February rose by 60% year-over- year (y-o-y), reaching 756 units, according to Ukravtoprom Association press service.
A total of 362 cars were produced at Ukrainian plants in February 2017, which was twice the result of February 2016 and 8% less than the figure in January this year, the association said.
Production of cars increased by 74% in February 2017, to 259 units y-o-y, whereas it dropped by 14% from January 2017. Notably, all cars were produced at Eurocar plant.

Moreover, 53 buses were produced in February 2017, which was 51% up against January 2017. It worth noting that Ukraine did not produce buses in February last year.
As UNIAN reported earlier, production of vehicles in Ukraine fell by 36% in 2016 against 2015, to 5,200 units, Ukravtoprom said.
