"Now we really want to get Amazon into our country, and we are now working the issue through with our partners. This is about an international mail turnover, so it takes some time," Smilyanskiy told Ukrainian TV Channel 5, according to RBC Ukraine.

“We are ready in terms of logistics, but this is about international agreements, and in this case we have to deal with the U.S. mail service, which is a large monopoly, so they don’t move too fast,” he said.

The rest is cooperation with Ukraine’s customs authorities which Smilyanskiy believes should increase their staff to ensure stable clearance procedures.
