Experts in the Ukrainian city of Kharkiv have developed a unique large-caliber rifle, Snipex Rhino Hunter, for sharpshooters, according to TV Channel 24.
Ukrainian snipers are now ready to test this brand new rifle of Kharkiv engineers: it boasts an impressive range of 2.5 kilometers, its barrel is 750mm long with the total length of the rifle being 1,200mm, Channel 24 said.
The developers assure that shooting from the Snipex is convenient – its easy recharging system, weak return, the floating barrel, and automatic cartridge ejection contribute to this.

The fact that such a rifle was developed at a chemical plant surprises even more. First, workers of the Kharkiv plant were involved in volunteering activities by sending lubricants for barrels to Ukrainian soldiers in Donbas. Then they decided to try and develop a real rifle, as the plant also hosts a shooting club.
All parts of the rifle, including the barrel, are produced in Ukraine, while manufacturers of other arms have to buy them abroad.
