Ukraine sees real wage hike – statistics service

Real wages in Ukraine grew by 6.8% in March 2017 compared to the previous month, according to the State Statistics Service of Ukraine.

At the same time, real wages grew by 19.3% in January-March 2017 year-over-year (y-o-y), the report said.

The average nominal salary of a full-time employee in Ukraine was UAH 6,752 in March 2017, which was 8.7% up from February 2017 and 37.2% higher y-o-y.

As UNIAN reported earlier, real wages in Ukraine in 2016 exceeded by 11.6% the indicator of 2015. The average nominal salary of a full-time employee in December 2016 increased by 19.8% against November, amounting to UAH 6,475.
