Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko has announced the beginning of talks with leaders of the EU member states on the abolition of roaming charges for Ukrainians traveling across Europe, according to an UNIAN correspondent.
"I can even share one more piece of pleasant news with you. In talks with the EU leadership and heads of the member states we started to seek the abolition of roaming charges for Ukrainians in the EU," Poroshenko said at an official event in Kyiv on Saturday evening pending the introduction of a visa-free regime for Ukraine.

"We are launching a relatively cheap railway service; we're making transportation by air more affordable by attracting low-cost airlines," the president added.
As was reported, the European Union introduced visa-free travel for Ukrainian citizens from 00:00 on Sunday, June 11, 2017.
