Ukraine's Prime Minister Volodymyr Groysman says agreements on a free trade area (FTA) with the European Union and Canada open new opportunities and markets for Ukraine, according to the Ukrainian government's portal.
"We are also looking forward to further deepening of trade relations with the European Union on our road to European integration. The agreements on the free trade area with the European Union and Canada open new markets and give Ukraine new opportunities, which we have already started to make use of," Groysman said when greeting Ukrainian trade workers on their professional holiday.

According to the official, the government is actively working to establish clear, transparent and understandable rules that will be advantageous to everybody: from producers to consumers.
Noteworthy, the Ukraine-Canada free trade area is to come into effect as of August 1, 2017.
