"We had to do restructuring at the time [during negotiations on debt restructuring in 2015]; our external debts even now amount to 80% of GDP," Groysman said.

The prime minister noted that this is a high figure, especially in the situation when Ukraine has to spend 5% of GDP on national security and another 5% of GDP is the deficit of the Pension Fund. "In addition, we spend about 4% of GDP on servicing external national debts, so we needed restructuring, it was the only right step," Groysman added.
