NATO delegation to assess reserves of Ukraine’s armed forces

The NATO delegation intends to inspect the Armed Forces of Ukraine and to assess the available resources, as reported on the website of the Ukrainian defense ministry.

David Brown from the planning department of the NATO International Secretariat's Defense Policy and Planning Division has said that by the end of October 2017, it is planned to finalize the inventory catalog of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, provided for in accordance with NATO criteria.

David Brown has also said that a manual for the assessment of available resources is now being developed, to ensure balanced defense planning.

As UNIAN reported earlier, European Commission President Jean-Claude Juncker noted that Ukraine was not a member of the European Union and NATO as of today.
