Bill on healthcare reform ready for 2nd reading - ministry

"We will implement the reform step by step. We will not be making a big bang. Primary care, then secondary, then medications. We will teach and train. Everyone will adapt in three years," he told journalists.

According to him, it is planned to go through a full cycle by winter and ensure the reform from a financial perspective.

Kovtoniuk stressed that many amendments offered by the Healthcare Committee had been taken into account, and now the bill is ready for voting.

"We have a draft law ready for the second reading, all formalities have been met. We are legally secured. The document was signed by the committee deputy chairman. The same goes for Bill No. 6604, which provides for changes to the budget in connection with the reform," he added.
