In 2018, financial assistance from the United States aimed to boost Ukraine’s defenses could reach $421 million, the Ukrainian Embassy in the United States wrote on Facebook.
"The U.S. Senate Appropriations Committee approved the Fiscal Year 2018 State, Foreign Operations and Related Programs Bill, which allocates funds, including for Ukraine support programs," the Ukrainian diplomats wrote.

The bill, in particular, provides for an increase in defense-purpose funding for Ukraine under the ‘Foreign Military Financing’ program," the embassy said.
