Poroshenko: Ukraine's GDP growing for 6 consecutive quarters

Having suffered an extremely powerful blow as a result of the war, Russia's aggressive closure of our largest market until recently, and even the Russian blockade of our exports to third countries, not only have we survived and avoided default ... we have laid the foundation for sustainable development," reads the document.

According to the president, tough anti-crisis steps, macro-financial stabilization, reduction of the tax burden, deregulation, anti-corruption measures, and the opening of new foreign markets, including through the Association Agreement and the EU-Ukraine Deep and Comprehensive Free Trade Area, have paved way for the restoration of the Ukrainian economy.

"The messages that we receive from the businesses add confidence that economists are not mistaken in their positive forecasts. The survey of CEOs carried out by the National Bank each quarter sees growth of optimistic expectations, both regarding the development of the macroeconomic situation and the financial state of the enterprises. According to a study conducted by the European Business Association, Ukraine's investment attractiveness index finally passed the negative level and became the highest over six years, including the pre-war indices. The businesses polled plan to boost their production, increase salaries and create new jobs next year," the head of state said.
