Ukraine invites Canada to join construction of ammunition plant – Poltorak

"The most important discussion was the joint production of [military] equipment both in Canada and Ukraine. We would like Canada to join the construction of an ammunition plant in Ukraine, and we have discussed this issue with my counterpart," Poltorak said at a joint press conference of Ukraine's minister with Canada's Defense Minister Harjit Singh Sajjan on Wednesday, September 27.

This refers to the Antonov plant, the production [of ammunition] at the said plant, as well as other joint projects with Canada we have in the pipeline today," Poltorak said.
