"Firstly, it is about equipping combat Anti-Terrorist Operation units. We continue to provide them with high-precision weapons, in particular electronic warfare systems, allowing us to deal with unmanned aerial vehicles. The second issue is anti-tank means aimed at being ready to repel armed aggression," Vladyslav Shostak, Deputy Director of the Department for Military Policy, Strategic Planning and International Cooperation at the Defense Ministry, said during the hearings in the Verkhovna Rada’s National Security and Defense Committee.

The defense official added that the Ministry continues to equip the Army with armored vehicles and armored personnel carriers.

"Traditionally, stage-by-stage, we have been upgrading our aircraft and helicopters. This is a high-tech process, and its scope is limited. We cannot purchase such equipment, it's very expensive technology," Shostak added.
