Ukrainian farmers exported oilseeds worth US$1.3 billion in January-September 2017, according to the UkrAgroConsult agency referring to the Institute of Agrarian Economics.
"In particular, exports of rapeseed and soybeans in monetary terms amounted to $0.6 billion each, while sunflower oil exports were estimated at $3.2 billion," the agency said in an update.
The major importers of Ukrainian oilseeds were Turkey (14.2%), the Netherlands (11.2%), Germany (10.9%), Iran (9.1%), Belgium (8.8%), Egypt (7.4%), and Pakistan (5.5%), which together form two-thirds of the Ukrainian oilseed exporters' income.

As UNIAN reported earlier, Ukraine had increased oilseed export by 1.75 times as of November 2, 2017, to 2.1 million tonnes against 1.2 million tonnes a year ago. In particular, the agrarians shipped 1.7 million tonnes of rapeseed and 0.4 million tonnes of soybeans abroad.
