"China sees Ukraine as a country from where it could deliver products to the EU market," Mykolska wrote on Facebook, following a Nov. 20 meeting of the intergovernmental commission on trade and economic cooperation.

According to the official, China is also ready to import finished food products, vegetables, fruits, machinery products developed with unique technologies, special automotive equipment, crafted products, and clothing.

"Our products are in demand because they are of high quality and are supplied at a competitive price, through e-commerce. There is a great interest in intensifying cooperation with the Ukrainian small and medium-sized business," the trade envoy stressed.

As UNIAN reported earlier, Ukraine and China last week held a meeting of the government subcommittee on trade and economic cooperation, as well as signed a protocol on investment programs and increase in trade.
