Ukraine's state-run Oschadbank and representatives of the European Investment Bank group – the European Investment Bank (EIB) and the European Investment Fund (EIF) – have signed a guarantee agreement worth EUR 50 million to provide loans to small and medium-sized businesses in Ukraine, according to an UNIAN correspondent.
Chairman of state-run Oschadbank's board Andriy Pyshny, Head of EIB Representation in Ukraine Bruno Denis and Senior Structured Finance Manager at the EIF Martins Jansons signed the document.
Head of the Delegation of the European Union to Ukraine Hugues Mingarelli, who attended the signing ceremony, said that the agreement was concluded as part of the EU4Business initiative to improve the access of small and medium-sized businesses to financing.

In turn, Pyshny thanked the partners for their support, stressing that Oschadbank is actively expanding its work with European financial institutions, and the agreement is not the last. He added that this signal from the European Union, the European Investment Bank, and the European Investment Fund means "We support you".
"This is a fundamentally important signal," he said.
