EBRD to allocate EUR 10 mln for new trolleybuses in Dnipro

The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) will allocate a loan of EUR 10 million for the renovation of the trolleybus park of the city of Dnipro (Dnipropetrovsk region), according to an UNIAN correspondent.

The relevant agreement on the preparation of the project of loan financing was signed on Friday by Dnipro Mayor Borys Filatov and EBRD Senior Banker, Head of Infrastructure and Energy n Ukraine Mark Magaletsky.

According to Filatov, 50 new trolleybuses will be purchased for the EBRD loan, which is the bulk of the existing trolleybus park in the city.

Filatov hopes the EBRD loan will be disbursed in March 2018.

UNIAN memo. The EBRD is the largest international financial investor in Ukraine. To date, the Bank has made a cumulative commitment of almost EUR 11.6 billion through 383 projects since the start of its operations in the country in 1993.
