"The major outcome of [the meeting in] Davos is that Ukraine is beginning to be perceived as an active negotiator. I think that even the meeting between the Ukrainian President and IMF Managing Director Christine Lagarde and their half-hour conversation have yielded the corresponding results as evidenced by the president's press conference and statements by Lagarde," Danylyshyn told Ukrainian TV Channel 5.

"We expect the arrival of the IMF mission in the middle of February," he added.

As UNIAN reported earlier, on January 24, following the meeting at the World Economic Forum (WEF) in Davos, Poroshenko and Lagarde announced the coordination of activities for the completion of the fourth review of the cooperation program and allocation of the fifth loan tranche to Ukraine.
