Ukraine may separate mining from cryptocurrencies

Head of the Ukrainian Parliamentary Committee on IT and Communications, Oleksandr Danchenko, has urged the Ukrainian government to promote the development of mining in Ukraine, separating it from the legislative regulation of cryptocurrencies.

In turn, Minister of Economic Development and Trade Stepan Kubiv noted that the issue could be resolved by drafting a relevant bill.

As UNIAN reported earlier, on January 29, the National Police stated that if the state fails to regulate cryptocurrencies in the near future, it should prohibit its turnover.
