Finance Ministry raises UAH 14.2 bln to national budget on domestic bonds

Ukraine's Finance Ministry borrowed UAH 14.158 billion, or US$515.9 million, to the national budget at the latest weekly auction to place government domestic loan bonds held on May 18.

Packages in hryvnias were sold for UAH 529.8 million (US$19.3 million), UAH 2.02 billion (US$73.6 million), UAH 248.2 million (US$9.04 million), and UAH 1.64 billion (US$59.7 million), with 84-, 441-, 553-, and 735-day maturity periods, and a weighted average yield of 8.48%, 11.19%, 11.3%, and 12.02% per annum, respectively, the ministry's press service reported.
