The finance ministry has placed four blocks of hryvnia-denominated securities.
The Ministry of Finance of Ukraine at the latest weekly auction for domestic government loan bonds today, February 2, attracted to the state budget a total of UAH 5.285 billion (US$207,818 million).
The funds were obtained as a result of the sale of four packages of hryvnia-denominated bonds worth UAH 250.4 million, UAH 897.9 million, UAH 2.139 billion, and UAH 1.998 billion, maturing in 105, 364, 805, and 1,204 days, respectively, with a weighted average yield of 9.29%, 11.40%, 11.88% and 12.15% per annum, the ministry reported on its website.
Background
The Ministry of Finance over the past year raised on domestic bonds a total of UAH 258.8 billion, $3.9 billion, and EUR 845 million.
