Ukrainian Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal does not exclude the possibility of a repeated halt to public transportation in some cities and even regions due to an increase in the incidence of COVID-19 cases.
"It's not excluded that in some cities or regions it will be necessary to stop transport again," he told BBC News Ukrainian in an interview.

"There is a spike in the number of patients. Lviv region tops the list in terms of quantity. The city of Kyiv is a traditional leader as it has the highest population density. There is also Chernivtsi region. Rivne region is about to take the lead," he said.
As for the subways, according to the Prime Minister, the government acts as an "adviser" to local authorities.
"The government controls the situation in Ukraine in general, but it is the local government that imposes or eases curbs locally. The head of Kyiv should be the initiator of this. If this initiative does not come while we see from the indicators that there is already a threat to the life and health of people, a threat of an outbreak on a grand scale, we will intervene," he said.
As UNIAN reported earlier, as of the morning of June 30, there were 44,334 confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Ukraine, 706 of them were reported in the past day. Some 192 people were hospitalized, 12 died, 88 patients recovered in the past 24 hours.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky says Ukraine needs to be prepared for the second wave of the COVID-19 epidemic due to the rapid dynamics of the incidence of coronavirus cases.
The largest number of patients with COVID-19 in the past day was confirmed in Lviv region, Zakarpattia, Rivne and Odesa regions.
On May 26, Mayor Vitaliy Klitschko announced that the city is "close to a decision" to reinstate more stringent quarantine rules, including in public transport.
