U.S. dollar in Kyiv's exchange booths weakens on July 7

The euro became stronger against the hryvnia.

The U.S. dollar in Kyiv's currency exchange booths weakened against the hryvnia, Ukraine's national currency, as the forex rate changed by 10 kopiykas to UAH 27.15 on the morning of Tuesday, July 7, from 27.25 on July 6.

The euro gained in value against the hryvnia, as the rate changed by five kopiykas to UAH 30.70 per euro from UAH 30.65, according to an UNIAN correspondent.

Meanwhile, the U.S. dollar was sold for UAH 26.80 on average, while the euro for UAH 30.10 on July 7.

As UNIAN reported earlier, the National Bank set the official forex rate for July 7 at UAH 27.13 to the U.S. dollar, which let the country's national currency strengthen by four kopiykas.
