Ukrainian agrarian exported 3.24 million tonnes of grain in the new marketing year (MY, July 2020 - June 2021), which was 1.2 million tonnes down year-on-year (y-o-y).
The figures were reported by the agrarian department of Ukraine's Ministry for Development of Economy, Trade and Agriculture.
Exports
In particular, 1.67 million tonnes of wheat was exported, exports of barley totaled 1.06 million tonnes, those of maize were 498,000 tonnes, and rye 200 tonnes.
Also, 21,800 tonnes of flour made of wheat and other types of grain was shipped abroad, which was 6,800 tonnes down (y-o-y).

Forecasts
The ministry predicts the harvest of grain and leguminous crops in Ukraine in 2020 may total 68 million tonnes, while the yield of oilseeds is projected at 20 million tonnes.
