Ukraine boosts import of berries, fruits in H1

The domestic farmers do not cover the entire demand.

Ukraine has increased the import of berries and fruits in the first half (H1) of 2020.

The supply of watermelons and melons has increased the most year-over-year (y-o-y), as reported by TSN.ua.

"In total, almost 450,000 tonnes of berries, fruits and nuts were brought to Ukraine this year. Imports increased by 11% y-o-y," the report says.
