Non-residents reduce Ukrainian gov't bonds portfolio by 0.4%, to US$3.1 bln

Non-residents' share in Ukraine's government domestic loan bonds market fell to 10.5%.

The National Bank of Ukraine (NBU) says investment by non-residents in government domestic loan bonds – according to the results of a weekly auction – has shrunk by 0.4%, or UAH 310 million (US$11.2 million), to UAH 86.48 billion (US$3.1 billion).

Background

Non-residents' investment in Ukraine's government domestic loan bonds in 2019 increased by 18 times, or UAH 109 billion (US$3.9 billion) to UAH 115.8 billion (US$4.1 billion).
