Japan, Argentina to open markets for Ukrainian milk

Japan and Argentina will soon open their respective markets to milk produced in Ukraine.

That's according to the head of the State Service for Food Safety and Consumer Protection, Vladyslava Mahaletska, the agency's press service said.

"In the near future, we expect the markets of Japan and Argentina to open for Ukrainian milk," the report said.

Read alsoDeficit of Ukraine's foreign trade balance cut almost 93%At the moment, the report reads, the agency is in contact with international partners toward expanding sales in more than 30 foreign markets in various commodity items, including poultry products, live cattle, beef and pork, milk and dairy, honey, apples, blueberries and sweet cherries, peas and beans, onions, wheat flour, fish, and fish products, as well as reproductive material.

In February 2021, Lebanon opened its market for Ukrainian milk and dairy products.
