New head of board appointed at Ukrenergo

The Supervisory Board of the National Power Company (NPC) Ukrenergo at an extraordinary meeting on Monday based on the results of the competition appointed a new chairman of the company's board.

This is Volodymyr Kudrytskiy.

Since September 2019, Kudrytskiy has served as First Deputy Chairman of the Management Board. Since late February 2020, he has served as Ukrenergo Acting CEO, the company's press service reported.

Kudrytskiy joined the company in 2016, taking the post of Deputy Director for Investments. Prior to his appointment to Ukrenergo, he worked as Development Director of Ukraine's crude oil transport system Ukrtransnafta. He also served as Operations Manager and Director for Internal Audit at leading international and Ukrainian companies, such as MHP S.A., EastOne, TNK-BP, and Grant Thornton.

As UNIAN reported earlier, on February 26, Acting CEO of NPC Ukrenergo Vsevolod Kovalchuk announced his resignation. Kudrytskiy was appointed to this post.

UNIAN memo. NPC Ukrenergo is a power company responsible for operational and technological control of the country's integrated power grids and electricity transmission via trunk power grids from generating plants to the distribution networks of the regional electricity suppliers (oblenergos).

The company's network includes eight regional power systems, covering the entire territory of Ukraine and employing over 8,000.

Every year, Ukrenergo's trunk power grids transmit over 110 billion kWh of electricity.
