Ukrainian parliament speaker declares almost US$50,000 in 2019 income

Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada, Ukraine's parliament, Dmytro Razumkov declared UAH 1.27 million (US$47,265) in income in 2019, and he also lent UAH 26.7 million (US$993,673) to a third party.

The relevant assets declaration has been published in the state register of declarations by persons authorized to perform state functions or local government.

Last year, Razumkov posted UAH 914,200 (US$34,023) in income from entrepreneurship, UAH 178,530 (US$6,644) as a salary in parliament, UAH 88,000 (US$3,275) as a fee at LLC Ukrainian Political Consulting Group, UAH 51,400 (US$1,913) as income from the sale of securities and corporate rights, and UAH 27,800 (US$1,035) from the sale of electricity on feed-in tariffs.

In addition, Razumkov received UAH 10,300 (US$383) in welfare assistance and UAH 600 (US$22.33) as rent fees.

Last year, Razumkov's wife, Yulia Chaika, received UAH 3.86 million (US$143,655) from entrepreneurial activity, UAH 744,800 (US$27,719) from the sale of movable assets, UAH 550 (US$20.47) as rent fees, and UAH 550 (US$20.47) in interest and UAH 171 (US$6.36) in fringe benefit.

The declaration also mentions that Razumkov's non-monetary gift to his wife is worth UAH 80,500 (US$2,996).

The speaker is the owner of a house (492.2 square meters) and a land plot (1.020 square meters) in the village of Sofiyivska Borshchahivka, Kyiv region. He also owns non-residential premises with an area of 74.9 square meters and an apartment of 78.5 square meters in the capital city of Kyiv, as well as an apartment of 232.4 square meters and a land plot of 500 square meters in the village of Zdorivka, Vasylkivsky district in Kyiv region. In addition, he owns half of a 165.55-square-meter apartment in Kyiv.

The politician's wife owns two apartments in Kyiv with an area of 44.5 and 53.2 square meters, a house with an area of 489.6 square meters and a land plot of 962 square meters in the city of Mykolayiv. She is also an owner of 25% in an apartment with an area of 73.2 square meters in Mykolayiv. Moreover, she rents a land plot of 1,333 square meters in Mykolayiv, as well as four premises in the town of Chyhyryn, the village of Sahunivka and Moshny in Cherkasy region with a total area of 253.8 square meters.

The speaker's family has four cars: Razumkov owns a 2013 Toyota Land Cruiser 200 off roader and a 2012 Toyota Camry sedan, while his wife has a 2017 Tesla Model S and a 2016 BMW X5.

In addition, Yulia Chaika owns corporate rights in three companies (61% in Interinvest XXI Century, 100% in Businessinvestbud, and 34% in LLC Ukrainian Political Consulting Group). She is also the ultimate beneficiary in four companies (in the above-mentioned ones and in Interinvest XXI Century and Co.).

Razumkov has UAH 90,400 (US$3,364), EUR 1,325, and US$694 in bank accounts. In addition, he has UAH 340,000 (US$12,654) and US$75,000 in cash. His wife has UAH 43,500 (US$1,619) in bank accounts, as well as UAH 570,000 (US$21,213) and US$90,000 in cash.
