The Ministry for Development of Economy, Trade, and Agriculture of Ukraine has worsened its forecast for the country's grain and leguminous crops in 2020 from 65-70 million tonnes to 60 million tonnes.

The revision is due to low precipitation and economic factors caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, the report says.

At the same time, the projected area of the 10 main spring crops this year stands at 15.26 million hectares, which is 0.3 million ha more than in 2019.
