The Ukrainian currency has been strengthening for the third day in a row.
The National Bank of Ukraine has set the official forex rate of the hryvnia against the U.S. dollar at UAH 26.97 per U.S. dollar for Thursday, April 30, which let the Ukrainian currency strengthen for the third day in a row.
The hryvnia gained eight kopiykas in value, it said.

The official forex rate of the hryvnia against the euro set for April 30 is UAH 29.24 per euro, which let the Ukrainian currency become stronger by 19 kopiykas against April 29.
As of 15:00 Kyiv time on April 29, the hryvnia on the country's interbank forex market was traded for UAH 26.96/26.99 per dollar, while quotations against the euro were UAH 29.26/29.29 per euro.
Retail forex rates in Kyiv's currency exchange booths on the morning of Wednesday, April 29, were UAH 27.25 per dollar and UAH 29.60 per euro.
As UNIAN reported earlier, the official forex rate on Wednesday, April 29, was UAH 27.05 per U.S. dollar and UAH 29.43 per euro.
