As of today, the total number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in the city is 18,070.
Kyiv Mayor Vitaliy Klitschko has said the number of confirmed coronavirus (COVID-19) cases in the city rose by 356 in the past day.
"In the past day, another 356 residents of Kyiv tested positive for coronavirus, including eight healthcare workers. There were eight fatalities," Klitschko reported via Telegram on September 16. "As of today, the total number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in the city is 18,070."
According to the city mayor, 184 women aged 18 to 76 and 139 men aged 18 to 83 are among those infected.
Fifteen girls (from two to 15 years old) and 18 boys (from one to 16 years old) have tested positive.
Klitschko said 38 new patients had been hospitalized, while the rest are self-isolating, undergoing treatment at home under medical supervision.

In total, 5,519 Kyiv residents have already beaten the disease.
The highest number of the new cases in Kyiv was registered in Darnytsky district (74), Dniprovsky district (66), and Desniansky district (45).
The total death toll in the city is 291 cases.
