The total number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in the city stands at 24,736.
Kyiv Mayor Vitaliy Klitschko has said the number of confirmed coronavirus (COVID-19) cases in the city rose by 286 in the past day.
"In the past day, another 286 residents of Kyiv tested positive for coronavirus, including 12 healthcare workers. There were 10 fatalities," Klitschko told a briefing on October 5.
"As of today, the total number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in the city is 24,736," he said on Telegram.

Twelve girls and 12 boys (from four to 17 years old) have tested positive.
Klitschko said 32 new patients had been hospitalized, while the rest are self-isolating, undergoing treatment at home under medical supervision.
He added that 399 people had recovered in the past day.
In total, 8,263 Kyiv residents have already beaten the disease.
The highest number of the new cases in Kyiv was registered in Obolonsky district (54), Dniprovsky district (52), as well as Darnytsky and Desniansky districts (44 each).
The total death toll in the city is 430 cases.
