Mount Khomyak in Ukraine's west

At first glance, a hike to Mount Khomyak, 1542 meters high, seems to be a very easy undertaking. In fact, this steep, rocky mountain could offer many surprises. Nevertheless, if you are well prepared, the Khomyak route is perfect if you want to enjoy a one-day trop to the mountains near the town of Yaremche or Bukovel in Ivano-Frankivsk region. Still, the views from the top of Khomyak are worth it!
