Flowers near the Turkish Embassy in Kyiv the morning after the attack in Ataturk airport in Istanbul

In the early hours of Wednesday, June 29, the Kyiv residents started bringing flowers to the Embassy of Turkey in Ukraine following reports of a deadly attack in Ataturk airport in Istanbul June 28.

 As reported earlier, suicide bombers first opened gunfire near the airport and later set off two bombs having come inside the terminal.

At least 43 people were killed in the attack, including 13 foreign citizens, and dozens more were wounded. At least one Ukrainian woman died in the attack, according to the MFA Ukraine.
