Ukrainian athletes model uniforms for 2016 Olympic Games

Kyiv saw a preview on July 11 of the uniforms to be worn by the Ukrainian national team at the 31st Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro.

The sports clothing was designed by well-known Ukrainian fashion designer Andre Tan.

The uniforms were modeled by leading Ukrainian athletes and members of Ukraine's Olympic team, including Ukrainian Greco-Roman wrestler Zhan Beleniuk, world champion in rhythmic gymnastics Ganna Rizatdinova, medalists of the first European rhythmic gymnastics competition Yevhenia Homon, Valeriia Gudym, Anastasia Wozniak, Oleksandra Gridasova, and Olena Dmytrash, world champion in judo Georgii Zantaraia, prize winner of the World Judo Championship Yakiv Hammo, winner of the first European judo competition Kedzhau Nyabali.

Others were prize winners in international track and field decathlon competitions Hanna Kasyanova and Oleksiy Kasyanov, world and European champion in swimming Daryna Zevina, high jump champion of the first Youth Olympic Games Yuliya Levchenko, and medalist of the European high jump junior championship Iryna Gerashchenko.
