Devastating quake in Italy

In the early hours of August 24, a strong earthquake shook central Italy.

The temblor shook the Lazio region and Umbria and Le Marche on the Adriatic coast.

The death toll has already hit 247 people. Most of the buildings in the city of Amatrice were destroyed.
