Ukrainian canoeists return home with Rio medals

Ukraine's national rowing and canoeing team were welcomed by officials at Kyiv's Boryspil airport on their return home from the Olympic Games in Rio.

In particular, Ukrainian canoeists Yuriy Cheban, Dmytro Yanchuk and Taras Mishchuk won Olympic medals for the country.

Cheban bagged the gold medal in the 200-meter single canoe competition, while the duo of Yanchuk and Mishchuk won the bronze medal in the 1,000-meter event.
