A wake for presidential administration's official

A wake ceremony for deputy head of the presidential administration Andriy Taranov, who was killed in a water bike crash, took place in Kyiv's Officers' Club on September 21.

The official ceremony was attended by National Police chief Khatia Dekanoidze, Interior Minister Arsen Avakov, Prosecutor General Yuriy Lutsenko, and Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council Oleksandr Turchynov, and others.

Taranov was killed in a water bike crash when his vessel hit a barge on September 18. The accident happened amid a ride on the Dnipro near the Havansky Bridge in Kyiv.
